We are members of the French association Acteurs du Tourisme Durable, the first national network of professionals committed to transforming the industry towards sustainability.

 

With more than a hundred members, the mission of Acteurs du Tourisme Durable is to federate professionals around a tourism with a positive impact, promote sustainable tourism and its good practices, train professionals and represent the network members within professional institutions and media.

Protect the Planet

Environmental protection is part of our core values, and we believe that the tourism of tomorrow will be eco-friendly, ethical and socially inclusive.

In our daily business operations, we strive to be as sustainable as possible and limit our environmental impact whenever and wherever we can.

As part of our commitments towards the environment, we chose to become members of 1% for the Planet, a global organization that connects dollars and doers to accelerate smart environmental giving.

With our membership, we pledge to donate 1% of our annual sales to support non-profit organizations working for the preservation of the environment.

The approved non-profits in the 1% for the Planet network work across six cores issues:

  • Climate
  • Food
  • Land
  • Water
  • Wildlife
  • Pollution

About 1% for the Planet

Started in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, 1% for the Planet is a network of businesses who commit to donate 1% of their sales revenue to non-profits who focus on the environment.

Since its creation, 1% for the Planet members have given more than $200 million.

Today, 1% for the Planet is a network of more than 2 000 member businesses in 40 countries. In France, 1% for the Planet regroups 250 members and 500 certified non-profits.
