Conscious Hotel – Tire Station

Neighbouring its sister, Conscious Hotel Vondelpark, the Tire Station hotel holds its name from the fact that it formerly was a Michelin Tire Station.

Only 2 minutes away from the Vondelpark, the tire station is a great place for an eco-friendly Amsterdam city break.

Among its green features, the Tire Station has a vegetal roof top, solar panels on the roof and it’s very own aquifer energy storage system, to regulate the temperature in the building.

Upcycled or recycled furniture are mainly used throughout the building.

The 112 rooms are all designed in a crisp way, with touches of green up to the organic linen in your bed!

Gourmets will appreciate the restaurant, and the “sticky fingers” pastry shop, offering only organic, local and or fairtrade produce.

If you’re driving to Amsterdam, you’ll be happy to find a parking on-site, which of course is e-car friendly.

Bikes can be rented directly at the reception and the hotel organises a conscious bike city tours every week.

As in all other Conscious Hotels, a big part of the sustainable practices can hardly be noticed but is highly appreciated for those who care.
