Holiable's review of Eden Lodge Paris
Getting there
Centrally located, Eden Lodge Paris is easy to access using public transportation.
It’s a few steps away from the Metro lines 2,9 & 8. A bus stop is just seconds away from the house and get’s you to the city highlights.
Once you open the door to get to the Eden Lodge, it is as if you were in an oasis in the heart of the French Capital.
That’s the first impression we had crossing the luxurious garden to get to the main entrance of the building.
Eco-Conception
You would not imagine such a building in the heart of the French Capital. This wood and glass house hidden behind the trees is a splendour.
From floor to ceiling the house conception was thought sustainably:
-
- A wooden structure with reinforced isolation
- Low consumption lights
- Air Purifying tiles
- Use of renewable energies: solar panels on the glass roof and wood pellet heating
Sustainability and resource management is a real philosophy here. You can even feel it in the choice of materials and furniture of the house.
As well as in the rooms that are decorated with a lot of style. A mix of design and vintage.
Local and Organic Breakfast
The Eden Lodge is thought like a home away from home.
The large kitchen, which guests have access to all day, welcomes you in the morning to share breakfast over a large table.
The Breakfast highlights organic, and fair-trade products.
Bonuses
Wellness fans, the lodge manager can propose Thai Massages and Coaching sessions.
You'll get recommendations on things to see in the area or places to eat and have a drink.
If you’re lucky enough, you may have the chance to see a cute little red-haired cat.
Our opinion
Everything here will please the travellers that have a conscious lifestyle.
We particularly appreciated stopping here and for us, it is really an eco-chic experience.
Sustainable tourism philosophy is really at the heart of the concept. From the eco-conception of the house to the design of the garden, eco-friendliness is at it’s best with a lot of taste and character.
And the cherry on the cake is the atmosphere: very pleasant with shared spaces across the house to relax, eat, read or book.
If you had not guessed yet, we give them gold!
Good For: Urban travel, culture & heritage, organic food, veggie/vegan friendly
Our tip: Can't live without air-conditioning? Too bad, you'll miss a gem!
