The Fluctuat Nec Mergitur café is a friendly stopover located on the Place de la république in Paris. Proudly embracing the city’s motto since March 2016, this café revisits the concept of Brassens’ song, “Les copains d’abord”.
Fluctuat Nec Mergitur café’s sustainable approach was first thought through the conception of the building.
Designed to achieve the best energy performance, it was also thought to be easily accessible, and reduce noise for the comfort of all customers.
Food is served from breakfast to dinner, with a majority of local ingredients.
From the “Jambon-Beurre” made with famous Jambon de Paris to the beers brewed in the French Capital, up to its selection of beverages supplied by organic or fair trade brands.
To complete this friendly setting and this menu that suits all budgets, the Fluctuat Nec Mergitur café hosts nearly a hundred events per year. In addition to being a place to eat, it is a place to live.
