Philosophy
The restaurant’s sign says it all “ be an earth hero, be a meat zero”. Khaing Shwe Wha restaurant is a 100% vegetarian eatery.
Getting there
Located on the main road between old & new Bagan, the restaurant is at the crossing of a road leading to the North Entrance of the famous Ananda Temple.
As soon as you arrive, the owner will probably pop out of the restaurant and offer to put a cushion on your scooter’s seat. Making sure your place stays fresh while you’re eating there

You’ll have the choice between many local veggie friendly dishes, mostly curries.
