Company Description
In Bouzerat, near St Hilaire, the ecological gîte Le Vallon d’Amandine offers you a real return to the roots. This accommodation was created in June 2019 after 18 months of work on the family farm and embarks its guests into a handmade and 100% retro atmosphere.
Along with its eco-friendly features, the owners strongly believe in Slow Tourism, and built their offer in order for their guests to disconnect.
More than just a place to stay, the owners complete their proposal of sustainable tourism with eco-guided tours.
Janette, a certified guide, will take you for a 2 to 3 hours discovery of the local heritage, craftworkers or the surrounding fauna and flora;
They also give pride of place to local handicrafts, by sourcing from local producers and breeders. The soaps in the bathrooms also come from the local soap factory.
The self-catering cottage has three bedrooms and many eco-friendly features and still more to come.
Among others, it uses renewable energy and aims to be 100% autonomous for their energy production.
Guests are introduced to waste sorting and composting and invited to follow the zero waste philosophy of their hosts.
The owners are also keen on upcycling, or the art of giving things a second life to objects. Which you will be able to witness through the decoration of the rooms.
