In a splendid setting, the Mundo Nuevo hostal, located two kilometres from Minca, on the Caribbean coast between Santa Marta and Riohacha, is a place of rest and rejuvenation surrounded by nature

It is also a sustainable development project whose main mission is to have a positive impact on the ecosystem.

The ecolodge and hostel also has a 100% vegetarian restaurant Mondo Nuevo but is above all a permaculture, organic farm. Their objective is to become 100% self sufficient for food.

The lodge and hostel welcomes travellers from all over the world who are aware of the importance of maintaining the ecosystem and wish to use the surrounding nature in an eco-responsible way.

You will have the choice between several types of accommodation, according to your preferences. A hammock, a bed in a dorm, a en-suite private room and even a whole house.

As a guest, you will enjoy a succulent vegetarian cuisine, composed of fruits and vegetables from the organic farm or from local crops.

Mundo Nuevo wishes to act out completely sustainably, on all pillars of sustainable development. More than preserving the environment, Mundo Nuevo is also active on its integration among the community and educating their visitors on local culture and nature.
