Company Description
Phong Na Ke Bang National Park is a UNESCO classified site, settled in central Vietnam. It hosts the largest and the third largest dry cave systems in the world.
Oxalis is the official tour company allowed to organize expeditions in the Son Doong Cave, the largest one, only recently discovered.
The adventure tours can be as short as one day or go up to a 4-day expedition for the Son Doong Cave exploration.
Oxalis Adventure Tours are very much involved in responsible tourism.
Established in 2011, they employ a majority of locals in an ambition to provide stable employment to the community.
Tours respect strict environmental practices.
Everything brought into the park will be brought out.
Visitors are briefed at the start of each tour on these practices and made aware of the attention they should have towards the environment.
No permanent structures are built within the national park, and composting toilets are set-up at the campsites to protect the ecosystems from waste.
The number of people per tour is limited to avoid overtourism but also to preserve the natural ecosystem of the caves and the surrounding area’s biodiversity.
Oxalis Adventure Tours also gives back by reinvesting part of the revenue from your tours in environmental awareness programs or construction projects to help the community and its inhabitants
Tip: Travelers enjoying any Oxalis Tour get a free pickup/drop off at the ChayLap Farm Stay which is part of the same company.

Amazing experience
We were not sure if we should take 1 or 2 days trekking (mainly because of the price). We ended up doing only one day : 2 days would definetely have been worth it ! The guide (Seven) was amazing, very nice and he gave us lot of explanations (like how our money helps local people). Also, we felt very safe at every step of the trek. The route is very nice, we did not see other tourists than our own group, only local people, and infrastructures for lunch and the ones we saw for sleeping were amazing. I really recommand.
