Company Description
Located on the Black Isle Permaculture & Arts (BIPA), Â household, garden and woodland, 13km north of Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland the Siskin Cabin is an off-grid tourist accomodation.
Entirely designed, hand crafted and eco-renovated using natural and organic materials, this self-catered cabin is powered by renewable energy and was conceived with energy efficiency measures to reduce energy consumption.
Combining environmentally friendly features, artistic touches the cabin sleeps 2 people and is ideal for travellers who want to experience living with a minimal impact! Â As well as those with an interest in nature, sustainable living, organic food growing or Permaculture.
After a day exploring the area, you’ll enjoy relaxing on the outside deck with amazing views across wood and fields.
Recognized for our commitment for sustainable tourism, we were awared with a Green Tourism Gold Award.
We also offer woofing (volunteering) opportunities.
