Company Description
Located on the Dayslesford estate in the village of Kingham, Oxforshire, the Wild Rabbit is a traditional and environmentally friendly inn with a focus on sustainable tourism.
This eco-friendly accommodation offers both bed and breakfast and food in a manor house surrounded by a large park, whose origins date back to the Middle Ages.
The Wild Rabbit has been restored using local resources, worked in the old-fashioned way.
The updated woodwork has been reused, the beams and joints have been highlighted and new natural materials complete the warm decoration.
At the restaurant, you will enjoy traditional regional dishes based on local seasonal products. The estate has its own vegetable garden.
The Wild Rabbit is also supplied by surrounding farmers who share the same principles of sustainable agriculture. Delicious homemade sauces accompany forgotten vegetables and meats produced with respect for animals.
The Wild Rabbit is surrounded by beautiful scenery, which you can explore at your leisure, with hiking maps available and bikes at the front desk. Natural hedges provide habitat for a diverse wildlife and wildflowers are one of the pillars of organic farming.
