Company Description
Tom’s Ecolodge, nestled in the heart of an farming estate dedicated to sustainable development on the Isle of Wight, answers the desires of glamping enthusiasts.
The Tapnell farm has been working to maintain the generous nature of the Isle of Wight for nearly 40 years and applies the same principles to its environmentally friendly accommodation facilities.
On the vast estate, original lodgings such as safari tents, wooden huts, modules or pods, are scattered in a preserved environment.
Each unit has all the necessary comfort and has been built with the minimum impact on the environment. Wood, the predominant material, comes from local forests and the farm has created more than 12 hectares of forest with indigenous species, which it helps to maintain on the island.
All units are heated by a biomass boiler.
The staff, whatever their activity, is chosen from among the island’s inhabitants.
At Tom’s Lodge, you will enjoy idyllic scenery for a relaxing stay rich in discoveries of the local flora and fauna.
